OUR HISTORY

Commencing from humble beginnings, the current Director, Jimmy Yap, started as a sole trader in 1984 providing his services as a welder and fitter for various metalwork companies at the time.

In 1985, Yap Engineering Pty Ltd was formed with Co-Director and CFO Thi Ly. Together they built an enterprise which has worked on or has had a part to play in the development of the Sydney built environment.

Today, the company is still lead by the same founding directors and has expanded operations from lift refurbishments to balustrade installations, architectural metalwork and cladding.
